Garage Doors
Standard Residential Doors
This category includes various construction methods and materials in the basic panel and flush door designs that are typical of all overhead doors. Usually the residential category is limited to doors up to 18 ft wide and 8 ft. high.
Carriage House Style Doors
This relatively new category has grown to include many different construction methods and materials. The doors are typically designed to mimic the details and appearance of “old fashioned” swinging or folding type doors, but operate like a sectional overhead door. This innovation allows for the use of standard garage door openers and hardware, as well as achieving higher insulating values.
Commercial/Industrial Doors
This category is defined more by application than just by size and includes doors for commercial and factory buildings that must stand up under continuous use. There can be some overlap with residential door models, as some steel raised panel doors can be built for commercial use if appearance is an important issue.
